Chandra - Milton Keynes
The Milton Keynes Champion arrived under the Oak Tree in Midsummer Place, Central Milton Keynes on 13th Sep. A competition was held to name her, and the name Chandra was chosen.
MK Champion was born at Midsummer Place Shopping Centre. Since then he has been out and about, on the Radio, BBC 3 Counties Radio Station, leading the Celebr8 Peace Parade across Milton Keynes and visiting White Spires School.
People love meeting him, he has received lots of cuddles from children and has shaken hands with grown-ups. Our MK Champion has had lots of new experiences, he has climbed a tree, had a first taste of a cappuccino, seen himself in a mirror, taken his first car ride and leant how to dance. He has made lots of new friends, the Mayor Euan Henderson and his wife, and a friendly Policewoman.
