Take Part
We are passionate about engaging communities, and connecting diversity within communities and encouraging learning through conversation, creativity and large-scale participatory outdoor performance.
Why take part?
Imagination Our Nation is a story that takes us on a journey, which asks questions and seeks solutions, a journey in our communities, and a journey connecting communities, discovering facts from the past that will equip communities to live in the future.
What is happening & when?
DetermiNation National Residency
We will invite our art partners to meet our DetermiNation Champion who is 3m high, and take part in workshops to learn puppetry, costume making and other participatory art skills. The teams will return to their regions and continue with the DetermiNation chapter of the journey, making choices and determining our future.
In 2011 we will host the IllumiNation National Residency, inviting guest artists to work with us on devising and designing a detailed finale performance.
Between 2011 and 2012 we will create, rehearse and perform the culmination of Imagination Our Nation.
